I’m Ryan, and my wife is Sarah. Together, we’re raising two energetic boys, aged 4 and 2, here in Texas. A couple of months ago, our lives took an unexpected turn when I was laid off from my job. But at that moment, as the layoffs were being announced, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace. It was as if I knew God was at work, promoting me to a new role in His plan, even though I didn’t yet know what that role would be. Over the next few weeks, as Sarah and I spent time in prayer, it became clear that God was calling me to use my passion for design to create Christian apparel—clothing that would spread His word and support a cause close to our hearts. That’s how Apostles Apparel came to be.
The Meaning Behind Our Name
The name "Apostles Apparel" is deeply rooted in Christian tradition. The term "apostle" comes from the Greek word apostolos, meaning "one who is sent forth." In the New Testament, Jesus Christ called His twelve disciples "apostles," tasking them with spreading His teachings to the world. They were messengers of the Gospel, carrying the good news of salvation to all nations. Inspired by their mission, we aim to be modern-day messengers through our designs, encouraging you to wear your faith and share the love of Christ in your everyday life. Just as the original apostles spread the word of God, we hope our apparel inspires you to do the same.
